I'm an Aries, married, with one son. My husband and I met in college, in the Madrigal singers' group. He's a tenor, I'm a soprano. We've been singing together ever since, everything from Bach to rock, so to speak. Steely Dan is one of my favorite bands. I like their combination of sophisticated rhythms and chord structures, cynical lyrics, and beautiful production values. I also love any music that features harmony singing, like Crowded House.

I learned to read when I was four, and all my life I've had my nose in a book whenever I could. My favorite genres are historical fiction (I was a history major in school), fantasy, and detective fiction. My favorite author of all time may just be Terry Pratchett. Or George MacDonald. Or perhaps J.R.R. Tolkien. Maybe Tony Hillerman...oh, I give up. :)

I'm not much of a TV nut, usually, but I've gotten completely swept up in the show Moonlight. It has inspired me to start writing fiction for the first time.
